Qualitative reports at scale

Keeping the reflection human, the rest automatic.

I developed a low-fidelity internal tool to help facilitators at StartupYou drastically reduce the time taken to generate personalized student progress reports for design-led programs. What earlier took a week could now be done in a day, freeing up faculty to focus on what mattered - their observations and reflections.

Once the comments were input, the tool automated the rest. It fills a custom-made design template in bulk, exporting high-quality PDFs ready to print or share. Built on Google Apps Script with batch generation logic, it ensured visual consistency, reduced errors, and streamlined reporting workflows with faster revisions.

While still in development, the next version will feature a GUI to enable facilitators to simply upload their observation sheets and generate thousands of reports at the click of a button.
